SELF-ADJUSTING VICE JAW, MULTI PART VICE JAW, MULTIPLE PART CLAMPING

Our workholding partner designs, builds and services the SolidMax Workholding System which adapts directly to a 4" or 6" standard single or double milling vise for the purpose of uniformly clamping multiple parts by permitting up to 0.060" variation at each point of contact, or for the purpose of uniformly clamping the non-uniform surface of a contoured part such as a casting, and includes the following features and benefits:

• the SolidMax plungers compensate for variations in the size of parts by utilizing a MECHANICAL channel which equalizes the clamping pressure of the plungers
• SolidMax jaws reduces broken tools by securely holding multiple parts
• SolidMax jaws reduces the need for many dedicated fixtures in multi part clamping
• SolidMax System is available in four, five, six, or eight plunger configuration for multi part clamping, for 4", 6", 8" and larger vise
• SolidMax Workholding System can hold large parts with uneven and contoured cast and forged surface
• With the addition of plunger extensions, SolidMax can clamp most large contoured surface parts
